About Us

Millbrook Road Apiary is owned by Jim and Jane Todd and has been in operation for the last 10 years. Prior to being an apiary, Jim and Jane spent 25 years raising crops, market hogs and beef cattle. Jim worked as the Wayne County Weights and Measures Inspector, and Jane worked as the entomologist in the USDA-ARS Corn and Soybean Research Unit. They retired in 2021 to focus on growing the apiary into what it is today.
The apiary is registered with the Ohio Department of Agriculture and inspected annually. All of our products are made right on the farm, from the honey from the bees to the wooden colony frames handmade by Jim himself.
